The SMG Story

SMG Asset Canada Inc. is the parent company that provides management and administrative services across the SMG related entities. SMG started in 2004 as a financial services centre and has grown to the asset management company that it is today. Our goal is to fund and develop bioenergy and renewable energy businesses and technologies. We endeavor to provide profitable growth options to our clients and continue to be a leader in progressive green investment opportunities.

SMG Advisors Inc. is the financial services branch of SMG, and has been operating out of our Burnaby, BC office for over 10 years. Our financial advisors focus on providing well-suited insurance and investment products for our diverse client pool.

SMG Securities is an Exempt Market Dealer carrying exempt market products. Our Dealing Representatives work with clients to identify appropriate investments based on their investments goals and objectives. Most of these investment options are focused on the bioenergy sector.
